Il
Principe
Music: Peter Branka Text: Werner Alince This musical is composed of 2 parts with a total duration of 2h. Notice for producers: For a good performance, a revolving stage is recommended, because this
musical takes place on several places. The musical is completely composed. |
The musical takes place in the
Italian Renaissance and describes, based on Machiavelli‘s „Il Principe“, the
power games of a prince in a mystery story with abundant décor. In order to
achieve his political aims over other noble families, he deploys his „third
hand“, a witty murderer, who solves his master’s issues in his own way with a
knife. The name of the murderer, who only acts with a mask, is even unknown
to the prince, who gets sucked into contradictions because of this, which
finally cause his own downfall. |
